Membership statement
“Much of my work in recent years has been about global value chains in food and agriculture, especially their impact on the prices received by farmers and therefore the incomes and conditions of both farmers and their employees, as well as workers elsewhere in the chains. I am interested in ways of rebalancing power along the chains, reducing the transmission of price shocks around the world and making agricultural and commodity prices more stable and remunerative for those who depend on them.”
