« Since my PhD I have been interested in understanding the implications for firms interested in going green of the increasing fragmentation of activities along Global Value Chains. Focusing on traditional manufacturing industries, I have been investigating the specificities of environmental innovation, from a managerial perspective, and the forms of GVC governance that might support the achievement of sustainability results. More recently, I have been working on how new technology (digital manufacturing) might support firms achieving sustainability development goals, focusing in particular on circular economy aspects. »
