Summary & key words
In this article, we investigate the impact of internal and external collaboration on the performance of supply chain risk management processes through an empirical worldwide study comprising 300 companies of different sizes. In our article we show the complementary roles that internal and external collaboration play to enhance the performance of risk management processes in business firms and we precise the importance of internal and external collaboration for each of the four dimensions of risk management, namely identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring.
